WISCONSIN — You’ve heard of dairy farms, and cattle farms…but have you ever heard of a pizza farm? That’s right – here in Wisconsin, you can head down to the farm for fresh, delicious pizza, packed with ingredients that taste like they were just picked this morning (because honestly, they probably were.) Check them out!

AtoZ Produce and Bakery – Stockholm

AtoZ Produce and Bakery, located just east of the Mississippi River, has developed quite the following for their highly regarded pizza nights. Each summer, AtoZ opens their doors to serve unique, wood fired pizzas to hoards of hungry customers.

Wait times increase as the days get warmer, but pizza will be served rain or shine. While your pizza is cooking, relax with a drink and soak up some sun on the lawn. If you’re in a rush and can’t stay to enjoy the atmosphere, the folks at AtoZ are be more than happy to fix you up a pizza to go.

Stoney Acres Farm – Athens

Stoney Acres offers a range of seasonal pizzas in addition to their rotating selection of specials. If pizza isn’t enough on your visit, don’t forget to check out the farmer’s market stand for some fresh produce (and maybe even some sweets!) to take home with you. They also feature various local area and artisan cheeses from across Wisconsin. Think of Stoney Acres Farm as your one stop farm shop!

Suncrest Gardens Farm – Cochrane

Suncrest Gardens Farm, settled in the serene Yaeger Valley, is the perfect farm for a pizza dinner. Wood-fired pizzas are cooked in less than two minutes, thanks to their handmade, Italian-style oven. Suncrest also offers a gluten free option for those with special dietary needs. Be sure to check their website for a full schedule of live music throughout the season!

The Borner Farm Project – Prescott

For the full picnic experience, pack up your blankets, chairs (even tables!) and head to the Borner Farm Project in Prescott. The farm serves traditional and inventive pizzas reflective of the season, as well as farm-fresh appetizers, seasonal desserts and a selection of local beers and wines. Don't worry about popularity being an issue: while pizza-ordering is limited to a three-hour window, the farm doesn’t close until every guest has had their pizza and enjoyed the atmosphere!

The Stone Barn – Nelson

The Stone Barn in Nelson will have you raving about their hand rolled crusts and homegrown toppings. All of the meats used as toppings are locally raised and hand seasoned so that every bite bursts with flavor. And don’t forget dessert! The Stone Barn also serves ice cream so you won’t have to leave without satisfying that sweet tooth. New pizzas are added to the menu often, but you can always customize your pizza with the “build your own” option.
