SHEBOYGAN — The ice is now open for public skate!

COVID-19 has shut down public skates in several larger areas, but there are still places you can visit this season. Here's a look at locations where you can publicly skate around the area:

Kettle Moraine Ice Center — West Bend

Details: To see the ongoing master schedule or to schedule private events, visit

Mill Pond — Plymouth


  • Monday to Friday — 3:45 to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday — 1 to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday — 1 to 8 p.m.

Details: Ice skates free to use, warming shelter with benches, night lights

Osthoff Resort — Elkhart Lake

Details: If you are not a resort guest, contact the resort for public availability at 920-876-5870.

Regner Park — West Bend

Hours: Saturday and Sunday — 1 to 9 p.m.

Rochester Park — Sheboygan Falls


  • Open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily
  • Lights on from 4 to 11 p.m. daily

Details: 84' by 84' rink inside the baseball diamond. About 30 pairs of skates (youth and adult) free for use

Note: Public skate at the Sheboygan Lakers Ice Center, Ozaukee Skateland, Manitowoc County Ice Center and Appleton Ice arena has been canceled for the 2020-2021 season due to COVID-19.
