KOHLER – Folk singer Lil’ Rev will perform his musical, “Fiddler on the Roof Meets O Brother Where Art Thou,” Sunday, Nov 7 at 2 p.m. at the Waelderhaus in Kohler.

The show is a celebration of the Jewish and immigrant experience in America, and will feature songs, stories, poetry, lore and humor to illustrate the importance of diversity in our country’s history.

Lil’ Rev, a former music historian and lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, is a multi-instrumentalist who has mastered the guitar, banjo and mandolin.

He will be joined by Tim Dekker on fiddle. The Sheboygan-based musician plays with both Michael Lee Ammons & The Water Street Hot Shots and The Connemara Boys.

Rounding out the trio is Milwaukee bassist Guy Fiorentini, founding member of award-winning gypsy jazz group, The Milwaukee Hot Club.

Admission to the Waelderhaus is free, but reservations are strongly encouraged. To reserve a seat, call 920-453-2851 or send an email to Debbie.Weber@kohler.com.
