The Schnee Days winter festival will take place at multiple locations in Elkhart Lake.

ELKHART LAKE – Snowfall totals may be down this year, but you can still enjoy three days of winter fun at Elkhart Lake’s Schnee Days. The annual winter festival will take place at various locations across the village Friday, Jan. 27 through Sunday, Jan. 29.

Here is a schedule of events for the weekend:

Friday, Jan. 27

Flannel Friday at SwitchGear Brewing, 44D Gottfried St., 12-10 p.m. – Wear a flannel shirt and get half-off your first pint of beer, or wear a SwitchGear flannel and get your first pint free.

Sip ‘n Schnee at Vintage Elkhart Lake, 100 E. Rhine St., 5-7 p.m. – For $20, guests get to sample a selection of wines that are perfect pairings for winter foods. All proceeds benefit the Plymouth Food Pantry. Participants can also score raffle tickets for bringing in canned goods.

Fish Fries and Fires, 5 p.m. – Enjoy a traditional Friday fish fry at the Quit Qui Oc Golf Club Restaurant (500 Quit Qui Oc Lane), then relax in front of the outdoor fires.

Live music by Acoustic Blu, 7-10 p.m. – Enjoy a variety of classic covers by this talented duo, who will be playing in the Elk Room of the Osthoff Resort (101 Osthoff Ave.).

Live music by The Dave Steffen Band, 8 p.m.-12 a.m. – Local blues rock legend Dave Steffen and his band will be performing both originals and covers at The Shore Club Theater (276 Victorian Village Drive).

Saturday, Jan. 28

Sledding at Road America, N7390 WIS-67, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. – Enjoy a day of sledding on the beautiful Road America grounds. The cost of admission is $10 per car load. Participants should bring their own sleds. Pre-register at

SchneeLauf Run/Walk, 10 a.m. – The annual SchneeLauf will take place at the Quit Qui Oc Golf Club (500 Quit Qui Oc Lane), and have options of a 2-mile or 5K run, or a 2-mile or 5K walk. The entry fee is $25 for those 13 years of age and older, and $12 for those 12 and under by Thursday, Jan. 26. The fee rises to $30 and $17 on race day. All paid participants will receive a Schnee Days winter hat, gloves, button and a finisher medal. Visit to sign up. Registration on race day will be from 8:45-9:45 a.m.

Disc Golf Challenge at Road America, N7390 WIS-67, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. – Play some winter disc golf on the fun and challenging Road America disc golf course. The $20 entry fee includes a disc from the Road America Pro Shop. Top finishers will be awarded prizes, and all participants will have a chance to win random prizes throughout the day. Sign-in will take place at the Registration Building by Gate 6 between 9 a.m.-12 p.m. The tournament will feature flex starts anytime between 10 a.m.-12 p.m. To pre-register, visit

Snowshoeing at Quit Qui Oc Golf Club, 500 Quit Qui Oc Lane, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. – Explore the beautiful scenery of Quit Qui Oc Golf Club on snowshoes. Call 920-876-2833 for information about snowshoe rental.

Cozy Crafts and Cocoa for the Kids, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. – Kids can enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and participate in craft making at the Elkhart Lake Public Library (40 Pine St.).

Schnee Days Brunch at Lake Street Café, 21 S. Lake St., 10 a.m.-2 p.m. – Treat your tastebuds to a variety of delicious options at the Lake Street Cafe.

Open Ice Skating at June Vollrath Park, 290 N. Lincoln St., 11 a.m.-5 p.m. – Ice skate on the rink at June Vollrath Park, or go sledding across the street at the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah school sledding hill. Participants should bring their own skates or sleds.

Schnee Days Spirits Stroll, 2-6 p.m. – Take advantage of drink specials all across town, including $1 Tiki Shores pints all day at SwitchGear Brewing while supplies last.

Moonlight Snowshoe Stroll, 4:30-7:30 p.m. – Take a 1.25-mile trek on a lantern-lit trail through the Quit Qui Oc Golf Course (500 Quit Qui Oc Lane). Participants can either hike or snowshoe. The cost is $8 if you have your own snowshoes. The cost with snowshoe rental is $15 for adults and $10 for kids. Call 920-876-2833 to reserve snowshoes.

Live music by Micah Olsan, 7-10 p.m. – Join Micah Olsan at the Osthoff Resort’s Elk Room (101 Osthoff Ave.) for a night of groovy pop-rock with a funky vibe.

Live music by Sister Winchester and Bad Genie, 8 p.m.-12 a.m. – Enjoy a night of live music from sibling duo Sister Winchester and rockers Bad Genie at The Shore Club Theater (276 Victorian Village Drive).

Sunday, Jan. 29

Snowga at The Village Park, N. Lake St. and Rhine St., 10 a.m. – Feed your body and soul with some yoga in the snow at Elkhart Lake’s Village Park.

Chili Cook-Off at Siebkens Resort, 284 S. Lake St., 11 a.m.-2 p.m. – Sample a variety of chilis made by homemakers and commercial kitchens at P.A.M.’s of Siebkens Resort. The Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Athletic Association will also be serving grilled cheese sandwiches and brats. P.A.M.’s and the Cocktail bar will be open at 11am. Cook-off contestants should drop off their chili at P.A.M.’s between 8:30-9:30 a.m. For more details visit

Children’s Games and Ice Cube Hunt, 12 p.m. – Kids and their parents can participate in a variety of fun children’s games and an ice cube hunt on The Shore Club front lawn (276 Victorian Village Drive).
