SHEBOYGAN — The Sheboygan South High School boys basketball team dropped its 2021 season home opener Friday night 43-69 against De Pere.
The Redwings were led by senior Marcell Drone with 21 points. Juniors Jacob Leonhard and Lukas Ladwig each recorded seven for Sheboygan South.
De Pere was led by sophomore John Kinziger in scoring with 19 points. He was joined in the double figures by Max Donaldson (14 points), Gabe Herman (13 points) and Jack Jorgensen (12 points).
The Redwings will be back in action on Tuesday at home against Ashwaubenon.
