SHEBOYGAN — In their last home games, the Sheboygan North girls seniors put on a show en route to a 71-43 win over Green Bay Preble.
After North went up 11-4, Preble pulled within a single possession. However, the Raiders were able to withstand the spurts Preble put together in the first half.
Senior Karsyn Bichler got and kept the Raiders going by scoring all eight of her points in the first half, allowing North to take a 36-23 lead into the COVID-makeshift locker rooms.
At the start of the second half, North went on a another run from behind the arc, this time fueled by senior Megan Little. The Raiders jumped ahead 47-23 before Preble scored its first points of the half near the 12:20 mark.
Little, who finished with 11 points, was joined in a big half by senior Lizzie Binder. Binder finished with a team-high 17 points—12 of which came in the second half.
Sophomore Victoria Toeller also added 14 points while seniors Hannah Martin and Bichler each added eight points for North.
