PLYMOUTH — This week, Lakeland University began demolition of Grosshuesch Hall to make room for two new residence halls.

The two new identical halls, totaling the university's largest single investment at $35.4 million, are expected to open in the fall of 2022. the hall will be located in the area south of the Younger Family Campus Center on the sites currently occupied by Grosshuesch and Muehlmeier halls. Demolition will begin in May for the second building.
