SHEBOYGAN COUNTY — Two weeks ago, Sheboygan County saw three different school districts switch to remote learning models through Thanksgiving break.

With that break over, where do the schools stand?

Howards Grove School District

The district resumed in-person and hybrid learning on Monday, Nov. 30. Virtual instruction began Friday, Nov. 13.

Northview Elementary returned to in-person learning while the middle and high school is operating under a cohort model. Cohort 1 students will attend in-person on Monday and Tuesday while Cohort 2 attend virtually before swapping on Thursday and Friday.

Extracurricular activities have also resumed.

Random Lake School District

The district resumed in-person learning on Monday, Nov. 30. Virtual instruction began Monday, Nov. 16.

Sheboygan Falls School District

The anticipated return to in-person learning is Thursday, Dec. 3. The middle school transitioned online on Monday, Nov. 9, before it went district-wide on Friday, Nov. 20, with the Dec. 3 return date set.

Extracurricular activities will remain canceled while the district is in virtual schooling.

Sheboygan Area School District

On Nov. 24, the school announced it will remain virtual through the second quarter, which ends on Thursday, Jan. 21. 

Winter sport activities and other extracurriculars are still set to begin on Thursday, Dec. 3.
