SHEBOYGAN — With the alternate fall sports season already underway, it's going to be a busy spring for Sheboygan Area School District athletes.
Practices for the girls swimming and volleyball teams are already in swing with the remaining teams set to begin practicing next month. Because of the scheduling, the traditional spring sports are currently slated to begin in April and could run into June.
With approval from all head coaches and the activities directors, students will be able to participate in more than one WIAA sports simultaneously.
Here is a look at how the spring sports seasons will shake out for Sheboygan Area School District:
2021-21 alternate fall sports season dates
Swimming and dive (girls) — Began Feb. 8, anticipated to go through week of April 5
Volleyball (boys and girls) — Began Feb. 22, anticipated to go through week of April 12
Football — Begins March 8, anticipated to go through week of May 3 (Earliest game March 24. See schedules for North and South here)
Tennis (girls) — Begins March 8, anticipated to go through week of April 26
Cross Country (co-ed) — Begins March 15, anticipated to go through week of May 3
Soccer (boys) — Begins March 22, anticipated to go through week of May 10
Golf (girls) — Begins March 29, anticipated to go through week of May 17

Baseball — Begins April 19, anticipated to go through week of June 28
Softball — Begins April 19, anticipated to go through week of June 28
Golf (boys) — Begins April 19, anticipated to go through week of June 14
Track and field (co-ed) — Begins April 19, anticipated to go through week of June 28
Soccer (girls) — Begins April 26, anticipated to go through week of June 28
Tennis (boys) — Begins May 3, anticipated to go through week of June 21
