SHEBOYGAN — Just last month, Sheboygan Lutheran High School unveiled $10 million worth of renovations that nearly doubled its footprint.
The new nearly 30,000 sq. ft. wing includes a robotics lab, large conference room, band and choir room and theater. Previously, all events were being held in the gym between athletic events. With the added 600-seat capacity, the school also plans to rent it out to the community for events, which is already underway.
"We're calling it STEAM because we're now adding in a great deal for the arts and the 'M' in there is for ministry, because those are all what we're about here," said Carmen Dolson, Executive Assistant.
The school broke ground in June 2019 and had its unveiling in December 2020. Fundraising efforts are still ongoing, so to donate, visit lutheranhigh.com.
