SHEBOYGAN — Since 1973, Sheboyganites have flocked to Deland Park to do the New Year's Day Polar Plunge. This year was no different.
Despite initial concerns if the event would take place due to COVID-19 concerns and water conditions, several hundred showed up to Deland Park to watch this year's plunge.
The weather? A brisk 31 degrees with about 15 mph winds.Â
The water? Also 31 degrees according to reports.
Still, "It's not cold enough!" chants filled the air.
