Robert W. “Charlie” Steeb, 88, of Plymouth passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Pine Haven Christian Home in Sheboygan Falls.

Bob was born on December 6, 1932 in Plymouth, a son to the late Gustave and Frances (Dehn) Steeb. After graduating from Plymouth High School he served in the U.S. Army until his discharge in 1953. He was stationed in France at the Supreme Headquarters of the Allied Powers-Europe. On July 9, 1960 he was united in marriage to Beverly Fritz and she preceded him in death on September 29, 2002. Bob was a machinist with Elenco in Plymouth, retiring in 2006. Over the years he donated over 30 gallons of blood to the Red Cross. Bob always enjoyed the time he spent working on various projects with his boys.

Bob was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls.

Bob is survived by his two sons, Michael (Chris) Steeb of Sheboygan Falls and Robert (Debra) Steeb of Kannapolis, NC; his grandchildren, Allison Steeb of Sheboygan Falls, Josh (Rachel) Blanke of Greenbush, Scott (Sara) Farr of West Bend and Bradlee Faas of Plymouth; his great grandchildren, Everly, Harper and Daisy Blanke and Madelyn and Lily Farr. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

A funeral service for Bob will be held 5 PM, Friday, January 8, 2021 at Wittkopp Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Tom Gudmundson officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Plymouth. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home, 123 South Street, Plymouth on Friday from 3 PM until the time of service at 5 PM. Memorials in Bob’s name may be directed to the Stained Glass Window Project at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. 

Bob’s family would like to extend a special thank you to his at home nurse Ruth Williams and all the nurses and staff at Pine Haven for the care and compassion they gave to Bob.
