Judith A. Schieble, 69, of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday morning, October 9, 2021 at Countryside Manor where she had been residing.

Born April 19, 1952 in Sheboygan, Judith was the daughter of the late Walter and Betty Hillmann Schieble. She attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1970. She continued her education at the U.W. La Crosse and University of Illinois, Bloomington.

Judy was a teacher for the Sheboygan Area School District for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. She actively involved in the Sheboygan Spaceport program and teaching model rocketry to elementary school children. She loved traveling around the world including Africa, Russia, Morocco, Costa Rica and Europe. She also coached volleyball and swimming. She also enjoyed outdoor sports including hiking, biking and snow shoeing.

She is survived by her brothers, James (Sandra) Schieble, Columbus, and Jeffrey Schieble, Sheboygan; her niece, Stacy (Joseph) Walz, Jonesboro, AR, and her nephew, Matthew (Maggie Roovers) Schieble, Madison; her great nephew and great niece, Lucas and Claire Walz, Jonesboro, AR; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Judy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 18, 2021 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Wildwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Countryside Manor and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care and support.

The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Judy's arrangements.
