Debra L. Heidenreiter, 65, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 at her home in Sheboygan Falls surrounded by her loving family.
Debra was born October 22, 1957 in Racine, the daughter of Donald and Patsy (Mullis) Freymuth. She attended school in Racine, graduating from Horlick High School in 1976.
On June 22, 1996, she was united in marriage with Tom Heidenreiter in Racine. The couple made their home in Sheboygan Falls.
In recent years, Deb had enjoyed working as a promotor for Thrive by Le-Vel, and driving for the family business, Heidenreiter Bus. She was adored by the children she drove, and their families. Above all, Deb was most proud of being a mom not only to her own children, but also a second mom to many of their friends.
Deb loved experiencing all life had to offer, and living it to its very fullest. She enjoyed gardening, camping, traveling, and writing poetry. Many of her poems she gifted to loved ones, while others were written specifically for her party invitations, where she was often considered a karaoke queen. She loved holidays, especially Christmas, including a full immersion of her home decorations into whatever season it was. Above all, she loved hosting parties and gatherings for her family and friends; she wanted to make sure everyone around her was happy and having fun. Those she loved will miss her hugs and her laugh.
Deb is survived by her husband Tom and their children: Jonathan (Aubrey) Spuhler of Sheboygan, Laura (Drew) Leath of New Orleans, LA, Katie (Tyler) Erdmann of Green Bay, Matthew (Lorna) Heidenreiter of Keller, TX and Aimee Heidenreiter of Indianland, SC. She is further survived by her grandchildren Layne, Vince and Emmett Spuhler, Grant Erdmann, and Payton, Nick, Chase and Will Heidenreiter; her parents Donald and Patsy Freymuth of Racine; sister Julie (Dave) Petersen of Racine and their son David Peterson Jr.; brother-in-law Tim (Mary Jo) Heidenreiter of Sheboygan Falls; other relatives and many, many friends.
A Memorial Service for Deb will be held at 5:00PM on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 730 County Hwy PPP in Sheboygan Falls. All are welcome to view a livestream of the service on Deb’s obituary page at www.wenigfh.com . The family will receive visitors at the church on Sunday from 2:00-5:00PM.
