He was lead driver in removing snow from the city streets during many winter storms. He proudly served as a member of Teamsters Union Local 56 and as a Trustee and Vice-President.

Spike was a former member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish. One of his accomplishments was obtaining a donut maker which proved to be an excellent, fun fundraiser for the Parish. He was skilled at home maintenance and improvement and assisted neighbors with lawn cutting and snow removal. He loved polka music and had a wide collection. His video camera was always at the ready at family gatherings, leaving a visual legacy for his family. He had many hours of companionship with his beloved cats- Morris and Maggie.

The family extends our thanks to Jennifer and the wonderful staff at Sharon Richardson’s for their special care of our father. We are so fortunate that Dad was on earth for so many years and are blessed with many memories.
