SHEBOYGAN – The Sheboygan Police Department is investigating a weekend fight that included gunshots. The incident occurred around midnight on Saturday, Jan. 14 in the parking lot of the Thai Café, 1227 N. 14th St. in Sheboygan.

At 12:19 a.m. on early Saturday morning, a 911 caller reported a group of people fighting in the parking lot, and that multiple shots had been fired. When officers arrived, they found out there had been a fight between two groups of people that spilled out into the parking lot. They also found evidence that a handgun had been fired.

Witnesses at the scene told officers that, after the fight, the two groups left in separate cars, and that shots were fired at one of the cars before it sped away. It is unknown at this time if a vehicle or person was hit by the gunfire, since both groups left prior to officers arriving at the scene.

The Sheboygan Police Department is asking anyone with information about the incident, or video of the incident, to call 920-459-3333.
