SHEBOYGAN FALLS — At Wednesday night's Sheboygan Falls City Council meeting, the council agreed to extend the parking regulations made in downtown to accommodate for more curbside pickup.

Due to COVID-19, downtown businesses had asked council to block off select parking spaces in downtown to allow for easier curbside pickup, which many businesses had to turn to as a result of the pandemic. After requests from several owners to extend the temporary regulations, Mayor Randy Meyer brought the decision to council.

After some discussion, the council agreed to continue the select parking downtown specifically dedicated to curbside pickup through the end of February. At that point, council will re-evaluate the needs of businesses and decide if it needs to be extended again.
