SHEBOYGAN — Family, friends, students, teachers and community members joined together Friday afternoon at St. Mark Lutheran Church to honor the life of Jensen Horvat.
Horvat, 17 but described as an “old soul,” died on May 16, 2021. He was a senior at Lutheran High School.
His father, Alex Horvat, spoke about he and his son’s frequent Harley rides down 8th Street and the thrill Jensen would get when his father picked him up from school on his motorcycle. Alex also spoke of his son’s love and community in online gaming and his time in robotics and band at Lutheran High.
His speech also honored Jensen’s bonfire friends, “the four amigos,” and band teacher, Mr. Thiel, that he treasured.
