HOWARDS GROVE — Howards Grove School District announced Thursday night that beginning Friday, Nov. 13, the district will begin virtual instruction through Nov. 27.
"Due to a recent spike of COVID-19 cases the Howards Grove School District simply does not have the capacity to open as normal tomorrow," the alert said. "We will begin VIRTUAL INSTRUCTION beginning tomorrow, November 13th through Friday November 27th. During this time, all extra-curricular activities will also be cancelled. Please check you email for additional information."
Howards Grove is just one of several schools who have chosen to turn to virtual instruction through Thanksgiving Break.
- On Tuesday, Sheboygan Falls Middle School transitioned to virtual learning with an anticipated return date of Wednesday, Nov. 18.
- Later that night, the Sheboygan Area School District announced it will remain virtual through Nov. 27.
- On Thursday, Random Lake also made the move to virtual learning through Thanksgiving break.
