Here are key dates you need to know about for the upcoming Nov. 3 general election.

• October 14: Last day to register by mail or at myvote.wi.gov.

• October 20: First day for in-person absentee voting at the City Clerk’s Office hours below:

  • Tuesday, October 20, 2020 — 8 am to 4:30 pm
  • Wednesday, October 21, 2020 — 8 am to 4:30 pm
  • Thursday, October 22, 2020 — 8 am to 4:30 pm
  • Friday, October 23, 2020 — 8 am to 4:30 pm
  • Saturday, October 24, 2020 — 9 am to 1:00 pm
  • Monday, October 26, 2020 — 8 am to 4:30 pm
  • Tuesday, October 27, 2020 — 8 am to 6:00 pm
  • Wednesday, October 28, 2020 — 8 am to 4:30 pm
  • Thursday, October 29, 2020 — 8 am to 4:30 pm
  • Friday, October 30, 2020 — 8 am to 5:00 pm

• October 29: Last day to request an absentee ballot by mail for regular voters myvote.wi.gov

• October 30: Last day to register in-person prior to the General Election. (You may register at the polls on Election Day.)

• General Election Day: Polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm.
