Sheboygan County — With the turn of the calendar comes the wave of Halloween events and fall festivals.

Below is a listing of area events:

Scarecrow Festival — Christopher Farm and Gardens, W580 Garton Road, Sheboygan

When: Saturday, Oct. 10: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 11: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Admission: $25 per vehicle each day at eventbrite.com.

About: Tour the 500-acre property to visit scarecrows that local businesses, organizations and families have designed. The event will also include arts and crafts, fall stories, fishing and more.

Boos & Brews — Bookworm Gardens, 1415 Campus Drive, Sheboygan

When: 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16

Admission: $10 for Bookworm members, $12 for non-members at the door or $2 off each presale at bookwormgardens.org.

About: Adults 21 and over can enjoy the Garden's lights while sipping craft beer, wine and cocktails. Live music will be provided by Cold Soda Club.

Drive thru Trick or Treat — Dominion of Terror, 2024 N. 15th St., Sheboygan

When: 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24

Admission: $2 per child

About: Drive through the parking lots to different candy stations as friendly characters guide you. All volunteers will be in face masks for safety.

Camp Y-Koda Halloween Party — YMCA, W3340 Sunset Road, Sheboygan Falls

When: 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28

Admission: $15 for Y members, $20 for non-members by Friday, Oct. 23, by calling 920-467-6882 or emailing krautmann@sheboygancountyymca.org.

About: Those ages 5 to 12 are invited to explore spooky trails and enjoy Halloween activities including trick-or-treating, crafting and a costume contest. Dinner will be provided including milk. Bring clothing suitable to spend time outdoors.

Happily Haunted Gardens — Bookworm Gardens, 1415 Campus Drive, Sheboygan

When: 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30 and 31

Admission: Free for members, $8 per person for non-members. Registration required at bookwormgardens.org/happilyhaunted.

About: Dress in your favorite costume and stroll through the thousands of lights in the Gardens, vote for your favorite Bookworm-inspired pumpkin, hear stories and listen to entertainer Wes Tank. Kids will receive a pre-packed goodie bag.

Zombie Hunt — Classic Paintball, W6653 county Road U, Plymouth

When: Hourly reservations every Saturday and Sunday in October

Admission: $25 per person by calling David Holton at 262-271-4859 or emailing info@classicpaintballparty.com.

About: Using a series of clues, players must make their way through the arena to collect the zombie virus antidote before time runs out. Zombies are lurking so all players will be armed with a paintball gun, 200 paintballs, mask and guide.

*Note: The "Frankenstein/Dracula movie night set for Oct. 23 at the Weill Center has been canceled.
