SHEBOYGAN COUNTY - The Sheboygan County Chamber has received a $5,000 donation from AT&T for its "Explore Your Future 2022" career development program for 7th and 8th grade students.

The program is designed to help 1,300 7th and 8th graders from Sheboygan County explore different career paths during a two-day event, which was held at Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland on Jan. 12 and 13.

“The goal of 'Explore Your Future' is to not only help our students explore different career paths, but to also help them learn more about their personality types and what careers they might find interesting,” said Deidre Martinez, Executive Director of the Sheboygan County Chamber. “We are grateful to receive support from AT&T and other local businesses as sponsors of this year’s event.”

Following the two-day event at LTC, students will continue their exploration of career paths by meeting with career coaches through INSPIRE Sheboygan County. They will also have opportunities for job shadowing and youth apprenticeships.
