The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department on Tuesday afternoon rescued two people who fell into Random Lake.

The Sheboygan County Dispatch Center said they received several 911 calls from residents along Random Lake reporting they were hearing people yelling for help.

Rescue personnel found two men (47 and 25) who had attempted to walk on Random Lake and fell in when the ice broke. Both were rescued from the lake and transported to Aurora Grafton Hospital.

The following public safety agencies assisted: the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, Random Lake Ambulance, Random Lake Fire Department, Sheboygan County Dive Team, Orange Cross Ambulance, Silver Creek Fire Department, Kohler Fire Department, Plymouth Fire Department Ambulance, and the Cedar Grove Fire Department.
