SHEBOYGAN — Every Tuesday this summer, Sheboygan's 8th Street will once again be transformed into one large outdoor dining area.
The program, 8th Streatery, was created last year as a result of COVID-19 restrictions limiting restaurants to outdoor seating. As a result, the city and 8th Street restaurants embraced the challenge and created their own "open air cafe" with participating restaurants in the city's heart of downtown.
This year, 8th Streatery will return on Tuesdays from 5-9 p.m. June 22 through Sept. 21. Participating restaurants include Il Ritrovo Pizza, Field to Fork Cafe, Local Press Eatery, Legend Larry's and Trattoria Stefano-An Italian Restaurant.
