SHEBOYGAN — Sheboygan's first axe bar opened its doors Wednesday, Oct. 14.

The Longhouse Axe Bar, which was opened by the owners of Escape Sheboygan, is identified as a "handcrafted viking axe throwing experience." The bar features 12 hand-crafted and stained throwing lanes and custom-built tables, a hand-painted viking mural wall, handcrafted cocktails and several beer taps.

Due to COVID-19, the bar is operating at 25% capacity, or approximately 25 people, and masks are required when not seated or at your specific lane.

Bookings have opened for the weekend with 60-minute throwing sessions available for $27.13. Each lane can accommodate anywhere between four and 17 players.

To book a lane, visit longhouseaxebar.com. Any groups larger than 18 for a lane must contact the bar at 920-453-0132 or owners@escapesheboygan.com.
