One of RUFF Rage Room's smash rooms

SHEBOYGAN – Starting Thursday, Aug. 18, Sheboygan will have a place to blow off some steam, and have fun at the same time, when the RUFF Rage Room opens to the public.

The new business, which is located at 1225 Erie Ave. in Sheboygan, has three smash rooms and one splatter room where customers will be able to let go of tension and have a great time, all in a safe environment.

For the smash rooms, guests will grab protective gear (jacket, hard hat, face guard and gloves), choose a weapon of mass destruction (crowbar, sledgehammer, baseball bat, golf club), and then select some items to smash (glass, electronics, furniture). You can also choose a playlist to provide a soundtrack for your smashing. The smash rooms are acceptable for ages 12 and above.

In the splatter room, both adults and children as young as three years old will have a chance to release some energy and have fun. Just place a 16 x 20 canvas on the wall and let the paint fly. The room also has a black light for added effect. At the end of the session, participants will be able to take their creation home.

Both the smash rooms and splatter room are ideal for parties with co-workers and team building, bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthdays, or if you just need to get over a bad day.

Prices range from $20-350 depending on time and the amount of materials to be destroyed. Add-ons include powder bombs, glitter bombs, windshields, portraits and more. To book a session, go to https://ruff-rage-room-llc.square.site/.
