SHEBOYGAN — Family Video announced Tuesday that it will be closing all of its remaining U.S. stores, including one here in Sheboygan.
"Today, I have to make the difficult announcement that we are closing all Family Video locations," said Keith Hoogland, CEO of Highland Ventures, LTD in a release. "The impact of Covid-19, not only in foot traffic but also in the lack of movie releases, pushed us to the end of an era."
According to the release, the final day for renting is Wednesday, Jan. 6, and stores will officially close once all inventory is sold out. Items for sale at each store include DVDs, Blu-rays, display shelves, merchandise and everything else.
The website, www.FamilyVideo.com, will continue to sell movies, CBD products, memorabilia and more.
