Jean Ann Paulson

Jean Ann Paulson, age 81, of Sheboygan, WI, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.

She was born on January 3, 1939 in Sheboygan, WI, a daughter of the late Fred and Theresa (Gruenke) Zillner.

Jean attended St. Peter Claver Catholic Grade School and graduated from Central High School in 1958.

She served in the United Stated Marines Corps from 1960 – 1962.

In August of 1962, she married Carroll Gaspard and together they had two children, Carroll and Fred.

On December 3, 1976, she married Harvey Paulson. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1999.

Jean worked for JL French, Piggly Wiggly, Yonkers, Yacht Club, and Rupp’s Downtown.

She enjoyed fishing, needle point, cross stitching, and taking care of her family.

Survivors include her two sons: Carroll Gaspard of Sheboygan, Fred (Ruth) Gaspard of Waunakee; three sisters: Kathy (Wayne) Shiflet of Macon, GA, Audrey (Robert) Lettre of Sheboygan, and Marilyn Pfister of Hingham; brother-in-law: Ralph (Judy) Paulson of Racine; and sister-in-law: Karen (Bruce) Christenson of Sheboygan.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister: Barbara Zillner; father and mother-in-law: Harvey Sr. (Carita) Paulson; aunt: Louise Schmidt; and two brothers-in-law: Herb Paulson and Ron Pfister.

Following Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. A memorial fund is being established in Jean’s name.
