Lynn M. Zastrow

Lynn Marie Zastrow, age 55, of Plymouth, WI, met her Savior on Sunday, October 7, 2018. In the days before she passed, she was surrounded by her loving family.

Lynn was born on December 27, 1962 to Harry and Laverne Czarniecki, also of Plymouth, and she graduated from Plymouth High School in 1981. Throughout her life, Lynn enjoyed spending time with her father and mother, as well as her brother, Tim, and sister, Ronda.

Lynn was married to Patrick Ausloos of Sheboygan in 1986 and bore two children, Ryan Ausloos and Brittney Coffee.

Motherhood and family were Lynn’s greatest joys, and she grew her family on September 11, 1992, when she married Gregory Zastrow of Sheboygan and saw her family expand to include Alexandra “Alee” Zastrow and Tyler Zastrow. Many of Lynn’s happiest moments came in supporting her children, and she was always in the front row, cheering loudly, whether it be a basketball, baseball or volleyball game, a Christmas program, piano recital, or school play. No matter the event, Lynn was a “superfan” for her kids.

Lately, Lynn had taken great joy in working with her husband Greg in their financial services company. She prided in their work together and loved their trips to New York, California and Italy. Though she had always been actively volunteering in her children’s school community, she and Greg had lately taken great joy in volunteering for both the 1907 Club in Sheboygan and for their grandson Mason’s school, St. John’s Lutheran in Plymouth, WI. In this work and travel together, she was so happy to deepen the bond in both their marriage and their mutual faith in Jesus Christ.

She further took great joy in seeing the growth and expansion of her family. She had frequent playdates with Alexandra’s sons Mason and Tyler, danced at the wedding of Ryan and his new wife Lauren, saw the christening of Joe and Brittney’s son Ryan, and took pride in Tyler’s work in college. Second only to her faith in Jesus, Lynn’s greatest pride and joy came from her family. Lynn was current member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sheboygan and was a friend of Bill W.

Survivors include her husband Gregory, of Plymouth; four children, Ryan (Lauren) Ausloos, of East Troy, Brittney (Joe) Coffee, of Plymouth, MN, Alexandra Zastrow, of Plymouth, WI and Tyler Zastrow, of Minneapolis, MN; her three grandsons, Mason, Tyler and Ryan; mother, Laverne Czarniecki, of Plymouth; her brother, Timothy Czarniecki, of Random Lake; her sister, Ronda Kasten, of Plymouth, WI and her mother-in-law, Earlene Zastrow, of Sheboygan. Lynn is further survived by many other relatives and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Czarniecki, and her father-in-law, Harold Zastrow.

A funeral service for Lynn will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1818 N. 13th Street, Sheboygan with Rev. Alan Kretschmar officiating. No visitation will be held prior to service. Following the funeral service and burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, a reception/open house for family and friends will be held at Town & Country Golf Club Restaurant, W1943 County Road J, Town of Sheboygan from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lynn’s name may be directed to 1907 Club and Lutheran High School. Lynn’s family would like to extend heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Nicholas Hospital ICU for the compassion and care that was given to her.
