Cindy Lu Ford

Cindy Lu Ford, age 70, of Plymouth, passed away on Wednesday (October 3, 2018) at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.

She was born on August 17, 1948 in Kiel, WI, a daughter of the late Elmer and Edna (Bunge) Schneider.

Cindy attended Sheboygan Falls Grade School and in 1981 she completed her GED.

On August 20, 1983 she married Gery Ford at New Hope United Methodist Church in Greenbush, WI.

She worked as a nurse’s aide at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center in Plymouth, Morningside Health Care in Sheboygan and also for In-home care.

Cindy was a member at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Kiel. She belonged to a dart league and also attended card club once a month with her sister, Sharon.

She enjoyed playing sheepshead and many other card games, camping in the Shawano area, and spending time with family and friends. She also loved spending time at Washington Island.

Survivors include her son: Elmer (Jennifer) Schneider; Two grandchildren: Paige McLamb, Shayna Schneider; Great-grandchild: Greyson McLamb; Sister: Sharon Schmahl; Three nephews: Roger (Julie), Daniel and Richard Schmahl; and her special friends: Bill (Pam) Mueller and Henry (Mandy) Lisowe.

She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Parents; Brother: Jerry Schneider; and Brother-in-law; Leroy Schmahl.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday (October 7) at 4:00 P.M. at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Pastor Marianne Brandt of Sharon S. Richardson Hospice will officiate. Cremation will take place following services.

Visitation will take place on Sunday (Oct. 7) at Suchon Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Cindy’s name.
