James L. Stubler

James Leopold Stubler, 78, of Oostburg, Wl died on July 15, 2018.

Jim was born February 2, 1940 in Sheboygan, son of the late August J. Stubler and Hedwig E. (nee Majcen) Stubler. He is a 1958 Graduate of North High School in Sheboygan, WI. Jim enlisted in the Army in July of 1958, completing basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, and served in Italy. He then attended UW-Milwaukee, earning bachelor’s degrees in Business and Finance.

Jim was united in marriage to the late Betty Jean (nee Louisier) on August 29, 1964 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Sheboygan. Jim and Betty made their homes in Milwaukee WI, Sheboygan, WI, Midlothian, VA, Germantown WI, Waterford WI, Henderson NV, and Oostburg WI. Jim worked in healthcare administration spending the majority of his career at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital.

Jim is survived by son, Mike (Jodi) with grandchildren Tia and Rory of Oostburg, daughter, Michele of Oostburg; added daughter Marie Giesinger of Minneapolis MN; brothers, Tom (Karen) of Sheboygan and Dan of Sheboygan; sister-in-law, Carol (Earl) Schlagenhaft of Sheboygan; brother-in-law Albert (Marilyn) Louisier of Crivitz WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty, and nephew Randy Schlagenhaft.

Family and friends are invited to Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, WI on Friday, July 27th, 2018 for visitation from 2pm to the time of the service at 6pm, officiated by Pastor Mark Janzen of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
