Delores Gosse

Delores “Tootie” Gosse, age 84, of Sheboygan went to be with her Lord and into the loving arms of her husband Jerry. We are sure he said, “What took you so long?”

Daughter of the late Nick and Elizabeth (Schaller) Ramminger was born January 17, 1934 in Glenbeulah.  She graduated from Central High School, class of 1952. Tootie worked at the former Garton Toy Company, McDonalds and was a homemaker and caregiver most of her life. She was a member of St. Dominic Parish and enjoyed volunteering for Meals on Wheels. Delores met the love of her life “Jerry” while dancing at The Big Apple. She married Jerry Gosse August 20, 1955 at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church; he preceded her in death on October 30, 2001. They had a wonderful life together filled with so much love for each other and their three children, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mom was the most amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was so kind and caring and always had time for you. She was our “Rock”. She loved all holidays, but Christmas was her favorite. The house was so beautifully decorated, cookies made and everyone welcome, it was loud and full of laughter.

Delores is survived by her three children: David (Dawn) Gosse, Susan (Jay) Halverson, Michael (Carolyn) Gosse her grandchildren: Tyler, Ashley (Jason) Hocking, Tanya (John) Scharinger, Sammy (Tyler) Berndt, Connor and Logan Gosse great-grandchildren Emerson, Annabelle and Cameron. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. Tootie is further survived her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Wes and Josie Gosse as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, parents and in-laws, her brothers LeRoy, Wally and Joe and sisters-in-law and her special niece Julie.
