Richard Weber

Richard “Dick” George Weber was born on May 7, 1932 to the late Nicholas and Marie (Schinabeck) Weber and passed away on August 10, 2017. 

He attended Holy Name Grade School and graduated from North High School with the class of 1950. Shortly after graduating high school, Dick went into the United States Army where he proudly served as Corporal in the Signal Corps in Korea from 1953 to 1955.

He was united in marriage with Nancy Strassburg on September 24, 1955 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. During his working years he was employed as an electrician by Mayr Electric, Ace Electric and US Bank. Dick was the past president of the Sheboygan Bowling Association and of the Bowling Classic League. He was a Hall of Fame Member of the Sheboygan Bowling Association. Dick enjoyed woodworking, bowling and spending time with his grand and great-grandchildren. He also served as a Cub Master and coached his daughter’s and son’s softball teams.

Dick is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Linda (Dale) DeLorme and Mark (Wendy Brotz) Weber; grandchildren, Samantha (Jeff) Conner, Benjamin and Krystal DeLorme, Alyssa, Michael, Ryan and Aaron Weber; great-grandchildren, Declan and Elliot Conner and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Weber.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lorraine (Carlos) Loritz; brothers, Clem (Marian), Norm, Bernard (Jean) and Frederick Weber and nephew, Michael Weber.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1439 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:30a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Memorials to St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, the Special Olympics or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice are appreciated.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. V. Kerpe and his nurse, Carrie, Dr. Mark Bettag and his staff and to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the care given to Dick.
