James J. Biskobing, age 74 of Greenbush, returned to his heavenly Father who gave him life, May 10, 2012, following a brief struggle with cancer.
He was born December 11, 1937, in Plymouth, a son of the late Frank and Lillian (Stark) Biskobing and his great grandparents Joseph and Marianna Biskobing.
He graduated from Plymouth High School 1956. He then served in the U.S. Navy.
He was married Sept 11, 1965 to Sandra Noordyk. The lived Plymouth and then made their home in Greenbush.
He was employed at Borden Foods in Plymouth for 40 years.
He had been a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth and he had been a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He also served on the Greenbush Fire Dept for many years. Jim had been involved in authentic Black Powder shooting and reenactments around the state for many years.
He is survived by three children, Stacey (Kenneth) Spears of Nashville GA, Thomas Rank (Niah) Biskobing of New Holstein and Nikki Biskobing of Bluffton SC, five grandchildren Cassie and Kyle Spears, Crystal Meyer, Jesse and Desiree Biskobing; one great grandchild Tristan Ketter; one sister Doris Galbari, and numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins and his loving companion Sandra.
He was preceded by one sister Janet Brass.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday evening, May 16, 6: 30 PM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. The Very Rev Dennis VanBeek will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
; Friends may call at the Church on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until the time of service.
