Audrey Eleanor Hinz
Audrey Eleanor Hinz, age 80, of Sheboygan passed away Friday May 11, 2012 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Audrey was born January 23, 1932 in Gibbsville to the late Clarence and Florence (Huenink) VerGowe. She was united in marriage to John Hinz on October 31, 1953 at St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Audrey was a 1949 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. She was employed at Park and Shop, H.C. Pranges and in her retirement at Glander Pharmacy. Audrey enjoyed bowling and was involved in the Thursday ladies league at Maple Lanes. Audrey was a very faithful member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church and was part of the Ladies Mission Sewing Group. In her retirement years, she and her husband John enjoyed wintering in Arizona.
Survivors include her husband John, four children John (Dawn) Hinz of Waterford, WI, Jeffrey (Terrie) Hinz of Nashotah, WI, Jane (Anthony) Roe of the Town of Wilson, Jerald Hinz of the Town of Sheboygan, grandchildren Kelly Fitzsimmons, Ryan Hinz, Jason, Alissa, and Dylan Roe and a great grandson Declan Fitzsimmons. Audrey is further survived by her brother-in-law Kermit Miske of Adell, three sisters-in-law Audrey Ertel of St. Nazianz, Judy Pechmiller of Menomonie, WI, Beatrice Spindler of Florida and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Delores Miske.
Family and friends may call at the Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until the time of service. Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Helen Nickel from St. Andrew Lutheran Church officiating. Entombment to follow in the Garden Terrace Mausoleum at Lutheran Cemetery.
